Grandparents RULE!

Grandma & Grandpa D have a great thing going on that we call "Grandma Grandpa day". Every other Tuesday they invite Wyatt to a fun activity, once a month it's just grandma, grandpa & Wyatt and once a month its all the (Utah) grandkids together. They've had some good times together at Liberty Park, hiking, live performances/plays or just hangin' at their house watching America's Funniest Videos (Wyatt laughs his HEAD off at this show). G/G day is AWESOME. Wyatt looks forward to it.

Spent the weekend in St. George to cheer on Steve's crazy awesome bro., Scott, as he competed in the Ironman. (2 1/2 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run (marathon)) Twas a stellar experience for all of us. There is something very special about pushing yourself to your absolute physical limits, it transcends the physical and becomes mental, spiritual and very emotional. Way to go, Scott! He completed in 12 hours 25 mins. which is fantastic!



The kids ran in the 200 meter (Ellie & Sasha) and the 1 mile (Wyatt, Seth & Ellie) Ironman FUN RUN.

♫ Christmas is here... bringing good cheer...

Christmastime has got to be one of my favorite times of the year. Here are a few highlights from this year's crazy goodness...

I went to some great Christmas concerts with my friends and it proved to get me in the true Christmas spirit this year and really make my entire month bright.

And ya gotta love the superabundance of family time! Barbs always puts on a wonderful family Christmas Eve party. There's dinner, games, a scavenger hunt, a talent show, the Christmas program, new pajamas and lots of love and laughs.

The traditional Christmas pajamas. Wyatt's words after opening his: "This is NOT a good present, Mom." He was expecting a toy, unfortunately. Nothing is more disappointing for boys (& their daddies) than clothes for presents. haha

There was also sledding, a visit to a candy factory, candy making at home and lots of games but no pics. :(

Oh, and the snowmen construct/destruct. Wyatt enjoys the latter much more. haha

Birthday BOOOOY!

Wyatt is such a total blessing. We had a wonderful family party to celebrate his awesomeness. We sure love this kid, like to the point of heart twitters and happy pride bubbles gurgling up through my sooooul... Can't believe I've had 6 Wyatt-filled years already. Best 6 years evah!
