BASEBALL! & other Spring goodies featuring Wyatt

Wyatt is playing baseball for the first time ever. So far he seems to be having fun although he's a little diffident. I'm definitely having a blast watching him, though! He looks so stinkin' cute in his little baseball duds and he is just so much fun to watch. I love watching him learn and try new things - one of the best things about being a mom for sure.

Neighborhood Egg Hunt - cold and sparse this year, but still my fave Easter egg hunt tradition in the perfect woodsy spot with the perfect friendly friends.

Wyatt was lead on a scavenger hunt throughout the house to find his big gift from Mom & Dad: The Galactic Enforcer lego set. Yeehaw! Not sure I've ever seen Wyatt this happy before. Actually, Wyatt is the funnest kid OF ALL TIME to give gifts to, b/c he is SO excited and grateful for everything. :)

What a lovely Easter. I'm so grateful for a very uplifting day - we needed it.

Ancient Egypt by Wyatt

Wyatt gave a report on Ancient Egypt today in his 1st grade class. This boy is so stinkin' cute. Steve and I are the (buggiest) proudest mama & papa bears of all time. haha

He made a pyramid and a sphinx out of legos. And he brought his king cobra wood carving and a real Egyptian coin that Grandpa D brought back from his trip to Egypt last summer. Wyatt said "I love grandpa so much right now, everyone is so lucky they get to see REAL Egypt money and a REAL king cobra from Egypt!" He got a little nervous when he stood up to give his report and he forgot quite a bit of what he had memorized, but he made up for it with his charm! :)
